About Nanako Yatate
Nanako Yatate, born in 1998, is a Tokyo-based painter and illustrator. She graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design with a focus on Western painting. Using acrylic gouache as her primary medium, she creates works that often feature motifs of flora, fauna, and women, blending warmth with intricate, dreamlike details. In 2021, she published her first commercial art book, Wonderland, which received widespread acclaim. In addition to her participation in exhibitions both in Japan and internationally, she is active in book cover design and advertising illustration, showcasing her artistic versatility and creativity.
