About the Artist
Ashiya Maki is a Japanese illustrator and painter who began her artistic career in 2016. Since 2020, she has worked as a full-time freelance artist, holding multiple solo exhibitions and serving as a lecturer at a specialized art school. In February 2024, she illustrated the visual storybook "Garden of Prayers" (published by Shufunotomo Co., Ltd.), further expanding her artistic repertoire.
