【Book Introduction】

"APA Photo" is a public charity exhibition of the Japan Advertising Photographers Association. It has held advertising photography and photo public solicitation exhibitions since 1961. It has discovered many outstanding advertising photography talents over the years. The "Advertising Works Department" is the works that are actually circulated in the market. The other part of the "Photography Department" is responsible for the photographer's innovative challenges and performance.

"Yearbook Japan Advertising Photos 2024" includes the winning works of "APA Advertising 2024". The advertising work review committee consists of advertising work review chairman Shintaro Shiratori, graphic designer Ohta Kazuhiko, Tokyo Photo Museum student artist Kazuko Kanji, and deputy director of Genkosha Editor Naomi Demachi and Japanese advertising photographer assisted member Koichi Okowaki in the selection.

The judging panel for the photo works department consists of photography critic Kotaro Iizawa, photographer Mika Ninagawa, Kyoto University of the Arts professor Masato Azuma, art director Atsumi Kikuchi, and photographer Sou Oyama.

Among them, the 7th episode of "APA アーカイブス" also includes the masterpieces of Japanese video master Jumonji Minobu.
