Each work is accompanied by detailed production information, including key content aspects, the context of its creation, a contact directory of the designers, as well as listings of clients and printing companies—offering a comprehensive view of the diversity in contemporary poster design.

In addition to introductions and statements from the jury, as well as forewords by the association’s president and the jury chair, the publication also includes essays or interviews that delve into current issues, development trends, and critical analyses in poster design. A special highlight of this edition lies in the inclusion of the “award certificates” at the end—serving not only as an honorary tribute to the designers but also as a playful reflection hovering between seriousness and irony.

The concept was developed by the Tristesse collective from Basel—comprising two graphic designers and a filmmaker/photographer—who independently executed the layout, typography, and photography. With a stage-like visual approach, they cast the 100 Best Posters as the leading actors, creating a publication that is bold, cheeky, and distinctly Swiss in style.
