The works are categorized into five themes—fundamental research, commercial practice, technological integration, social issues, and experimental/conceptual design—highlighting the diversity of emerging design thinking.

An international jury composed of seven design teams from China, Japan, and Korea—including Chris Ro, Gao Lu, Jiang Hua, Ma Shirui, Yu Conghao, Tian Bo, Taku Sasaki, and Akira Kanai—was invited to participate in the selection and evaluation process. Their insights provide a cross-cultural perspective on trends in design education and creative practices.
