Ohara Daijiro was born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1978. Graduated from the Basic Design Department of Musashino Art University in 2003. Specializing in typography, he works in graphic design, illustration and film production, and develops projects that explore new perceptions of words and letters through exhibitions and workshops.

Recent projects include Mojuryoku, a gravity-focused mobile series, Ridgeline, a graphic series that recreates mountain photos and climbing maps by Takashi Homma, and musicians Shuta Hasunuma and Jun Kamota. There is also an audio narrative performance <TypogRAPy>, built together with the system. Awards include JAGDA Newcomer Award and Tokyo TDC Award.
