【Cover design】
The cover of the Traditional Chinese version intuitively uses the book’s designer’s avatar icon as the visual subject, serving as a link between the book’s visuals and content.
The visual concept is based on the title of the book "I feel like I am standing next to the designer, watching him work", with "seeing" and "working" as the two main focuses. I hope that viewers can clearly feel the concept of "being watched". At the same time, this "seeing" is not just watching the designer's work, but as if they can follow the case, just like the designer is teaching step by step, and the designer is watching We are like two people interacting and talking again.
At the same time, I also hope to express the concepts of "work" and "at work". Through the combination of irregular words, I can show the design process or sketch at work. Here we also use the grid elements in the book as a visual extension. Because the designer in the book emphasizes that design requires thinking and needs to pay attention to strategies in response to needs, concepts such as thinking, learning, and process are combined with the grid to create a train of thought. , a symbol of excessive temporality.
