The first full-scale collection of works by Mariko Hirasawa, an artist who is active in a wide range of fields including illustrations, prints, and essays.

Mariko Hirasawa, who has worked on many illustrations for advertisements, books, and packages, has recently been working on new expressions with the craftsmen of the print studio and the ceramic artist, such as the production of one-of-a-kind prints using a monotype technique called "drawing prints" and the "ceramics" jointly produced with ceramic artist Masanobu Ando.

In this book, she publishes 74 drawings in four chapters, "Morning", "Moromi", "Moonlit Night", and "Dream", and 7 of her three-dimensional works, "Ceramic Sculpture".

In the world of Mariko Hirasawa's work, we can see the gaze that tries to capture the beauty of the things that live in this world, in the source of nature, in their own time of life.

By wiping off the ink on the transparent film placed on the top plate of the press machine with a cloth, the gentle hills, the forest where the sun shines through the trees, and the divinely soft horses that appear as each color is layered on top of each other appear in the traces of the artist's hands, moving insincerely as if trying to copy an illusion.
