Toshiyuki Fukuda (ふくだとしゆき, born 1967) is a renowned Japanese illustrator and designer from Osaka. He graduated from the Department of Print Design at Osaka University of Arts in 1989 and quickly rose to prominence with his unique visual style. In 2005, he established his own design studio in Tokyo. Since then, he has been active across a wide range of creative fields including children’s books, advertising, editorial illustration, and CD cover design—most notably for the Japanese rock band Spitz. His signature style combines playfulness, nostalgia, and a soothing aesthetic. His use of rich yet harmonious colors and the innocent expressions of his characters create a heartwarming and sincere visual atmosphere. His works, which span picture books, illustration collections, and graphic design, have received perfect ratings from readers on Amazon Japan.
