51st Anniversary - Challenge for the next 50 years - ``Yearbook of Japanese Spatial Design'' was first published in 1973, and this year marks the 51st edition. The "Japan Kukan Design Award" was created by combining the awards of DSA (Japan Spatial Design Association) and JCD (Japan Commercial Environmental Design Association), and the "Japan Sign Design Award" by SDA (Japan Sign Design Association). It consists of two awards. Approximately 300 works were carefully selected in each competition from among entries from Japan and abroad, and will be presented with a wealth of illustrations and text.
